The Times Tue. Aug 28th 1855
The children of this parish were bountifully and most
hospitably entertained on Wednesday last, in the grounds belong-
ing to Andrew Johnston Esq., of Holton Hall. Tea was provided
for more than 100 children, who did ample justice to the refresh-
ments placed before them. After tea a variety of rustic games
and pastimes were indulged in, and everything was done by this
benevolent family to render all comfortable and happy.
